EDS Costume Creations

Elizabethian Gown

This amazing dress was a collaberation between EDS and a local university's theatre department. The gown was made of natural muslin. The skirt alone took 11 yards of the fabric.

In addition to much of the sewing EDS designed, sculpted, and cast the gown's jewels. The estimated value of the dress is over $7500. Labor alone was calculated at $5000. Those involved with this project were extremely proud of the achievement, as were the theatre recipients.

OISIN: Medieval Costumes

This short film required 30 plus medieval costumes for a cast of twenty-six. The subject matter placed a heavy demand on the costume design. Life in an inquisition prison isn't fabric friendly, even when its make-believe. Mortto's costume, shown in the first picture, was the most ornate. As the Inquisitor he was the flashiest character. The soldiers' costumes were next. Their many layers and accessories made them costly.

The Light of Daigh: Medieval Costumes

We created these costumes for The Light of Daigh trailer filmed in late 2009. The trailer is currently being used to obtain funding for the feature film. In addition to the costuming, EDS served the Set Designer and Blood FX Technicians. The TLD feature is going to be a challenging project for EDS. We will be returning for the feature production serving as Special Effects, and Blood FX Technicians.
