Russ is an author, and creator of the emerging children’s brand Bitty Bigfoot and Friends, known for his work on Jim Henson’s Creature Shop Challenge and his contributions to major studio films, indie productions, and instructional FX literature.
Over the course of three decades in physical effects, Russ has built a career defined by craftsmanship, storytelling, and hands‑on creativity. His work has appeared in major studio films including Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, 50 First Dates, Mythica, and SLC Punk: Punk’s Dead.
