The Doorway Dolly
In addition to creating creatures and gore, we are often asked to create useful equipment for production. Below is a doorway dolly we created for Ritual Pictures. The heavy duty dolly pivots on all four wheels creating some tight turns. No need for bulky tracks with this little monster around.
The 10" pneumatic tires on the dolly can be used on virtually any terrain.
Then best part of the EDS Doorway Dolly is the cost. Most dollies of this type run from $1200 (if your lucky) to upwards of $5000. Money that could be spent on other production needs. This dolly was created for $650. Dollies are a must on the set. Its better to own one, then go looking for one when the time comes. Why put your expensive equipment at risk on a PVC wanna-be. Our dolly has a steel frame, heavy-duty carpeted deck with a heavy "D" ring tie down. Why take the chance on plastic?
